Management Trainee

American General Financial Services seeks the best and brightest to join us as Management Trainees. Each Management Trainee completes a comprehensive training program using the latest technologies. Using an eighteen-month computer-based business simulation program, Management Trainees are exposed to all areas of branch management. The training program covers everything from loan origination to credit loss mitigation. From loan underwriting to risk management, from customer service to community service. Upon promotion to Branch Manager, relocation within a defined area may be required.

Key duties and necessary skills include:

  • Self-starter and willing to pursue training necessary to learn all aspects of lending operations including underwriting of loan applications.
  • Ability to assess and initiate collection activity including skip tracing, inside and outside adjustments, repossessions and bankruptcies
  • Actively sells and promotes branch products and service to customers and local businesses
  • Through training attains knowledge and licenses necessary to market and sell insurance to customers
  • May be called on to act as a relief manager in other district offices
  • Ability to relocate within a three district area
